Our Teachers

Meet the Teachers of first chirps!

Our teachers come from all sorts of backgrounds, but they’re united by a common passion: Sharing music with children and families in the Rockwall County area. All teachers have successfully completed the live Music Together® Teacher Training, which is built on research in early childhood and music development. We keep our skills fresh through workshops every semester and advanced trainings offered by Music Together Worldwide.

Beth starred as Christine in The Phantom of the Opera on Broadway as well as Magnolia in Hal Prince's Showboat, two roles that she also toured the country including a stop in Dallas at the Music Hall in Fair Park. Although she was performing at night, Beth and her two children (and husband!) would get up early to attend Music Together® class every week- singing, dancing, playing, and making new friends.

Since 2011, Beth has been teaching Music Together classes, passing on her love of making music and seeing families grow closer together while having a blast! Beth has achieved her advanced training, Cert 1, in Music Together, and continues to participate in ongoing early childhood education resources, actively seeking the latest research in how music positively impacts developing minds.

Although Beth still performs with symphonies around the country, she equally loves sharing the joy of music with families and brings that dramatic energy to her classes, engaging the little ones and inspiring their grownups. Beth considers it an honor to help foster the love of music to the next generation of musicians.
